We aim to innovate in partnership with our clients to achieve lasting and effective solutions for sustainable development.

Our People

Our close-knit technical team is led by our founding director Nick Pincombe, a Chartered Environmentalist and full member of both the Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management and the Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment.  He is an experienced ecologist and environmental planner with over fifteen years project management experience and extensive practice in impact assessment relating to ecology, planning and environmental sustainability.

All members of the technical team hold membership of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management or Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment, and are trained in site safety procedures as part of our ongoing commitment to Health & Safety.  Our consultants and associates are fully aware of current legislative requirements and hold relevant protected species licences as required.

As a small enterprise of fewer than twenty people, we team-up from time to time with other specialist consultancies, freelance associates and research institutions with which we have an established and successful track record of joint working for mutual benefit.

We do this to ensure we can supply the breadth of skills and depth of capacity required of a given contract, to offer a high quality service capable of meeting project deliverables.  This approach allows us to viably and successfully compete with larger multidisciplinary companies and thrive in a crowded marketplace. If you’d like to join our permanent team or become a freelancer or subcontractor, see recruitment opportunities here or contact us.
