Jasmine is a Senior Ecologist with over four years’ experience in ecological consultancy, working across the residential, utilities, and national infrastructure sectors. She has extensive experience undertaking protected species surveys and habitat assessments, including bats, great crested newts, water voles, dormice, badgers, and Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEAs). Jasmine holds a Natural England Level 1 Class Licence for great crested newts.

Jasmine has acted as an Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW) on projects of varying scale, including supervising destructive searches for reptiles and acting as the primary ecological contact under District Level Licences for great crested newts. She is an active volunteer with the Sussex, Surrey and Kent Bat Groups and the Sussex Amphibian and Reptile Group.

Jasmine holds two degrees in ecology-related disciplines. During her studies, she undertook research projects focused on bat species assemblages and behavioural analysis within a sand dune SSSI in Wales, using static detector surveys and activity data analysis. This work developed strong bat identification, data interpretation, and reporting skills.

In her spare time, Jasmine enjoys going to the gym, doing yoga and Pilates, cooking and baking.
