Robin joined the UEEC team in 2025 bringing extensive experience in botanical and vegetation surveying.  She is at FISC Level 4 of the Botanical Society of the British Isles field skills pyramid and has undertaken dedicated rare plant species surveys in saltmarsh and arable habitats, having worked extensively on coastal vegetated shingle habitats in the south-east. Her skills in this department have led her to work on interesting projects such as habitat-based assessment including condition assessment monitoring of Dartmoor Site of Special Scientific Interest, as well as a review and allocation of SINC sites across the borough of Ealing. She has extensive experience carrying out Preliminary Ecological Appraisal survey and assessment and acted as lead for this in her previous consultancy roles.

Robin has survey licences for hazel dormouse and great crested newt and currently volunteers for the National Dormouse Monitoring Programme. She has also undertaken surveys and training for other taxa and European Protected Species (including bats, badger, reptiles). She is also competent in data analysis, report writing, and designing, implementing and overseeing mitigation strategies as an Ecological Clerk of Works

Robin is a skilled project manager with an understanding of the planning process and the needs of the client, proficient in working on a range of developments from small residential schemes to nationally significant infrastructure projects. Her previous experience in multidisciplinary companies has led her to work on high-level coastal and flood alleviation projects in the south-east, providing her with experience in large-scale habitat creation schemes, Ecological Impact Assessment and Habitat Regulations Assessment. She is also well experienced in undertaking Biodiversity Net Gain Assessment for small sites to complex large-scale engineers’ optioneering projects. As such, Robin has good skills in communicating with stakeholders and project team members when carrying out her work.
