Jeff is an Ecologist with five years’ professional consultancy experience. Jeff has worked intimately on small-scale projects and large housing developments at full and outline planning stages. He holds a Level 1 Class licence to handle great crested newts, is proficient in a range of protected species surveys, Phase 1 habitat surveys, and he has acted as ECoW on many projects. He has authored Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Ecological Impact Assessments, Habitat Regulations Assessments, European Protected Species Licence applications and is accomplished in QGIS. Jeff is experienced in client and contractor liaison and co-ordinating and managing project tasks.

Jeff has a background in hands-on conservation roles and holds certificates to climb trees with rope and harness, operate 3a and 3b MEWP vehicles, and operate chainsaws and brushcutters. He has a particular interest in biodiversity net gain and is part of the Habitat Creation and Restoration Special Interest Group with the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management, with whom he is a graduate member.
