Hayley has more than 5 years’ experience as a Consultant Ecologist at leading multidisciplinary consultancies across the country. She has worked extensively with a range of protected species surveys including bats, great created newts, badgers, reptiles, hazel dormice, otter, barn owl and water vole surveys. Here she worked on projects ranging from small private dwellings to large integrated business and transport developments, completing landscape assessments, habitat and protected species surveys and report writing to produce protected species reports (bat, badger, great crested newt, reptile, bird and dormouse), Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Ecological Impact Assessments and BREEAMs. She has worked on Network Rail and other projects requiring specialist accreditation. She is currently working towards her level 1 Bat and Great Crested Newt licenses.

Hayley has a background based in nature conservation and environmental consultancy work across the UK in Kent, Wales, the Midlands, the North-east and Scotland.
