Post Permission Services

Strategies for avoiding and mitigating impacts are a crucial tool for securing development that locks-in ecological gains and delivers environmentally sustainable development.  They are frequently required to support discharge of planning conditions before works on site can get underway.

  • Our Clients

We commissioned Urban Edge Environmental to carry out an HRA for the Eco-town project, supported by visitor surveys and green infrastructure planning to address possible impacts. Their team is committed to the profession, which was demonstrated in the high quality of work. Able to deal with a range of stakeholders with diverse views and filter out the key issues. Got to grips with the requirements quickly and understood the project’s wider sensitivities and interdependencies. The reporting style was consistent, balanced and well received by stakeholders and the client team.

An essential aspect of all our projects is to make recommendations on how to enhance a site or area over the baseline condition in which we found it, and to ensure any expected impacts can be satisfactorily resolved. Our work in this respect is varied, and intrinsically linked to the site/area we’re addressing, informed by the features present or potentially present on site, and its context in the wider landscape. Reliable baseline data from survey work provides the essential basis for making recommendations for improvement.
