Ecology and EIA Projects
Client: Various
Urban Edge Environmental Consulting is pleased to offer impartial and influential advice to a wide range of private and public clients, in cases where development proposals, and subsequently planning applications, require ecological surveys or Environmental Impact Assessment.
Together with our network of specialists, we offer a full range of ecological survey and assessment services, from simple and extended phase 1 habitat surveys, phase 2 surveys and protected species surveys, to preliminary ecological appraisals, Ecological Impact Assessment and Habitats Regulations Assessments. Our experience in these fields includes renewable energy projects, industrial developments, retail schemes, road transport projects, and mixed use and residential developments.
We also offer a full service EIA process, utilising our in-house coordinators and extensive network of specialist associates to create an experienced team tailored to the needs of a project. Sectors in which we have been involved include transport, residential and mixed use schemes, employment sites and renewable energy. Scheme design and masterplanning aspects often prove critical as does the way in which a project is revealed and presented to planning authorities, statutory bodies and the general public.
Meaningful and effective consultation plays in an important role, one in which we have been effective by providing excellent communications and facilitation services. We have worked on projects in urban and rural locations throughout the UK.
